Okay so you are a responsible wildlife keeper. Im sure you're licenses and permits are in order. BUT
what about the irresponsible "illegal wildlife" keepers out there AZA is talking about? I just think this is what the issue is about...not iguana owners. The NYC Ban on certain exotics is a little overzealous to include some boids and iguanas but people still own them there, vets still see & treat them there.
If my city were to ban my reptiles I'd move. I just don't precieve AZA's position as a threat to include ALL exotic pet owners is all, just those who illegally obtain, and care for wild animals.
I know Im missing the point. I better stop now before I dig myself deeper.
