My First Iguana!!! OH NO!!!

I really need some help. I inherited an iguana (named Kaiser Wilhelm III :) ) from a girl who had abandoned it at my best friend's house. I don't know very much about them, but he's (if it is even a boy) a little over a foot long from head to tail (his body is only about 6 inches... the rest is his tail. If you have any advice for me I'd really appreciate it.
