If it is simply to clean the "snalt" from the glass and not for any sort of disinfectant purposes you can use plain warm water and paper towels. You're correct in that using any kind of actual "cleaning agent" would most likely harm the igs.
As far as eating, you may not actually see them eat for a few days until they become more acclimated to their new surroundings. Also, bear in mind that they aren't going to be able to live in such as small enclosure for very long. And it is definitely not recommended that they be housed together as they grow older/larger as territoriality (if both male) or breeding (if male/female) will definitely become issues.
If you've been researching, I'm sure that you've found proper diet, heat, humidity, substrate and UV info. You may want to check out HerpSupplies.com for any equipment you need. Generally much cheaper than purchasing from pet shops.
