I jsut got a new Iguana. His name is Bud. Yes after the lizards for Budweiser. Anyways, I got him in the mail on an overnight delivery. The Ig was fine when I pulled him out of the shipping box. I placed him in a thirty gallon fish tank while I went to make him a 4'2'2' terrarium like environment. He is healthy and about two feet long including tail. I guess that would make him about a year old or a little over. Ever since I have put him in the new cage and tried to take him out and handle him he gets fussy. He slaps and bites at me. Once I catch him and get him settled down on my shoulder he is okay with me grabbing him to a certain extent. Why is this? zis it because He is just scared from settling into a whole new environment? Will it go away?
