My little iguana is really small for his age. He had some early trauma in his life and his growth is not what should be, he is also far too skinny. I have been giving him a good diet and calcuim supplements, a UV light and a basking lamp. He does eat, and have seen him eating a whole dandelion leave!, also loves strawberries.
Just feels to me that he is growing very slow from what i read from other people, and other ig's i have seen around the same age. I went to a pet store and the person there told me that he feeds his ig some meal worms 2x a week. they realy look very good and fat, and a lot bigger than my ig. Now i have read ig's for dummies and the green iguana manual and every where else, everybody say no insects or worms. I just need to get my little guy fattened up and growing, Am i just too impatient.
any ideas?
This photo was this morings basking session.
thanks
paul
