Blkwido,
My very first Iguana exhibited the tail wagging that you mention. It was very odd.At that time I often wondered if he was wagging his tail because he was happy,it sure did seem to coincide with his favorite times(handling and feeding while handling). It was not consistant enough to be a physical defect, and I also recall pondering if it was due to him being unbalanced on my hand, but I could never accept that as truth either, because he would do it while in a very secure position.I have always believed he was just happy.Even if one day science proves me wrong,I will still believe he was just showing his contentment.I no longer have that Iguana, but from the memories of his behaviors,I would interpret a wagging tail to be a very good indicator of his approval with the way his owner has things going.Keep up the good work.
