I have a bearded dragon, and today while buying him crix I ended up with an iguana as a rescue. He had been dumped in a parking lot, and was very cold, and fairly skinny. His muscling still looks not bad, and he's now camping in my beardie's 50 gallon tank, while the beardie is in his smaller one (he's just a baby so he'll be ok for a while yet).
Anyhow, I plan on curling up tonight with lots of material printed from anapsid.org, but it will take me a bit to get through it all. I'm looking for basic information, fast, so I can keep this guy comfy and get him on the road to being healthy. The tank is around 85oF in the warm end, substrate is rabbit pellets, with several flat rocks and a hiding place he should be able to get his whole body under. The lower half of his tail is a different colour, at the store they said he'd lost it at some point. I have adult crickets, assorted greens for the beardie, and some big kingworms, will he be ok for at least a day or two like this? Poor guy hasn't even moved :(
Reply here, or feel free to email me. Thx!
