I don't understand why people are banned from keeping ANY pets for the rest of their lives???? That story made me sick.

Then you have people like a guy I work with....he's not cruel, but he DOESN'T THINK! He bought a pure bred lab puppy and tons of supplies a year ago--kept it for a couple months and decided it was too much responsibility--gave it away. Two weeks ago he buys a pug purebred & tons of supplies again, rationalizing this would be less work because the dog is smaller...huh? He gave it away this weekend! Can we say impulse?
