My female iggy is about 2 1/2 years old. I took her to the vet the first time this happened and the vet gave her her an enema and told me she was in good health, maybe she was a little constipated. The vet also stated that he blood work revealed a high calcium level. "Cheek" my iggy resides in a 90 gallon aquarium, heated by 2 100 watt ceramic heaters and 75 watt night bulb which is on during part of the day.
I am wondering is this a symptom of an early egg bound iggy or are my husbandry techniques wrong. Cheek eats like a pig. She will go as long as 2weeks with out relieving herself. I am very concerned. This is my most tame and first reptile. I love her like she is my child. Open for suggestions.
Thanks Martin
