How big is that room?
Remember, a well kept iguana will (should) eventually be kept in one room, all for itself to enjoy.

I used to have a 8x8x8 rubbercoated wire cage in a room.

Now, I suppose, though never had one, rabbits deserve plenty of space to run and hop all aobut. After all, it would be cruel for both the larger animals to be confined all the time in cages.

So u have two animals that require plenty of room in one, plus a third smaller critter.

If that's the only way to go, make sure the iguana gets AT LEAST 6 feet in length, and 4 to 5 feet in width cage. Height is obviously important, no less than 6 feet, but u should go for 7 or 8 feet in height.

This is the iguana alone. That takes about half the room already (roughly). The remaining space should suffice for a small rabbit and a chinchilla.

Ventilation is a must, like u mentioned, since all three animals tend to 'stink'. Iguanas possibly less due to no skin oils and coats. But the poopers are not Chanel n.5

Play things uh? Mmhhh... Iguanas don't really "play", but do enjoy fake trees and branches/vines. Hiding spots and a small 'pool' will keep em happy and humid.

Which brings us to another issue:

Are u sure a reptile and 2 mammals should stay in the same room?
Reasosn:

1) Too much ventilation will make the ig "catch a cold. Really.
2) The high temps and humidity required for an iguana may be uncomfortable for the other critters, making the setup inhumane if not done right.
3) Iguanas, as a general rule, are not too fond of mammals (yes, there are exceptional cases, but thats another story). The iguana may be stressed, especially a young one, by the site of Bugs Bunny and the chinch. But at least they'r equiet animals right?

Not to ruin ur idea or imagination, but I disagree with the setup. Reptiles in room with other reptiles can be acceptable due to similar environmental needs, but mammals are another issue altogether.

But then again, u might make it work, so give it a shot, see what happens. There are good books on building cages/terrariums even indoors.

If theres more u want to know, just ask.
Keep us posted!
Regards,

Iguana Joe
