The name Double D did ring a bell... oh well, it's been a while!
So now it sounds u got it all figured out uh?
As for climbing, here are a couple of pennies:
In those stores that sell fake plants and flowers for home decor they sometimes have fake large plants. These can be sturdy enough for an iguana, and give the room a 'natural' look. Vines etc. can be added.
You can also install shelves on the walls wit hramps connecting them, for the animals to walk around. This can be a plus for the ig since they love height... but u obviously know that right? hehehe
Ropes (cleaned) can be also used. But some say the iguanas can trap their claws and rip the off.
Also, u can buy some bed sheets or curtains or whatever and hang them up or accross the room. They can sometimes create a "hammock" thing. My iguana used to fall asleep on one of those.
Im sorry if my previous post sounded too negative. I've forgotten who here is "a veteran" and who is a rookie. Anyways, I hope that this post gave u some ideas. Using cheap bed sheets or curtains, or any fabric is a nifty way to set up climbing areas. I hope u understand what I mean, unfortuantely I do not have pics of my old setup.
Anyways, good luck with the critter room, and congrats on the new home!
Regards,
I J
