So heres the deal... My iguana, Elmo, is a 5 year old male. Hes in great health, eats like a horse, and used to be tame... Key word there is used to be. Last year I built him a HUGE home. 8'x4'x4' to be exact. Lots of room to climb, etc. This is the only change since Ive had him the past +/-3 years. Hes lost it. When you walk past the cage, he launches himself at the glass front regardless of how high up he is. If you look at him, he snaps at you. If you walk out of view, he charges until he runs into the wall. What is the deal? I dont get it. He was a show animal before I got him, and Ive known him since he was about a year old... Hes NEVER done this but its been going on about a month now. Is it breeding season? Does he need to get laid? Im lost and running out of patience. Thank you...
