Hi everyone. Well our still nameless iguana broke the tip of his tail. It must have just been a very tiny piece, since it doesnt look like he really lost any length and I couldnt find it in his cage. My son said it happened when he went to get him out, the iggy freaked like he usually does and somehow broke the tip of his tail. There was just a small amount of blood and it quit bleeding pretty quickly. Honestly he seems fine but I was wondering what else I should do? I was thinking giving him a bath would be a good idea. We havent done this yet, I have just now had him a couple weeks. I do mist him a couple times a day though. What temp should the water be for a bath? He does seem to be adjusting to his new home pretty good. His appetite has picked up. I found a store with a great produce section in the next town over, if you remember the store in my little town didnt carry any good iggy greens. I got some collard greens and he really seems to like them, he has been chowing. LOL I also just tried a little cantalope today, he hasnt tried it yet but we will see. I also got some acorn squash and we will try that here in the next couple days. But any advice on the tail issue would be greatly appreciated. If it helps he is only about 14 inches long and estimated to be 8 months old. So his tail is pretty small. Thanks again. Tami
