The same thing happened to my Baby when he was small. Just a small portion of his tail broke off. I don't remember how it happened, but at the time, we were pretty lizard-illiterate and I just washed it good and put some bacitracine on it. It's fine now, nearly 2 1/2 years later and you can hardly tell it happened. Someone else hopefully can tell you exactly what to do for him. Or...you may want to call you vet, just to see what he'd say. J
