A bath is definitely a great place to start; Phil takes one every day and it really calms him down. Try drawing a nice, warm bath that is deep enough to cover your ig up to his shoulders or so. If you just drop him in there and expect him to swim around, he will probably freak out. I usually hold Phil in the water until he calms down. Then he swims around and usually goes to the bathroom (this is a great method for litter training, too. Now I keep a pan of water in Phil's cage and he only messes in it). Then I would use some hydrogen peroxide to kill any immediate infection. he will probably be fine, but it isn't a bad idea to check with the vet. Hope that helps,
