since it has such a rough history, it might not. But it doesn't seem to big. Its a male? He'll probably grow some more. Males can grow to be very large.

Don't build a cage, according to the minimums. Build it as large as you can! The bigger the better :) you should "assume the worst and be prepared for the best" (lol, I probably got that quote wrong =P) What I'm trying to say is,,,, build a cage, that can accomodate a full grown male, and if he doesn't grow to be much larger, then he'll be happy in a roomy cage! :)
