I found a rescue that I might be getting. I have to call the girl and find out more info and take a look at the Ig before I decide to take her home.
This is the information I found on the website: Came to us with multiple burns and scars on head, belly and back, abscesses on jaw and feet, malnourished, and calcium deficient. Treated with antibiotics, oral calcium globionate, aloe vera, betadine baths, dewormed. Burns are healing well but will leave scars. Abscesses are assumed to be from immunodeficiency caused by low temperatures and calcium deficiency. Will hopefully recede with good husbandry and antibiotics. He had a great appetite now and is doing much better."
Also on the site, the gender is unknown, its estimated to be about 2 yrs old, the svl is 11' and the stl is 24". Do you think that this Ig is at its full length, or do you think that its going to grow more? (I've read that they can grow for five or more years, and I've also read that after two years or two and a half years, they wont grow anymore.) I'm asking because I need to know what size enclosure I need for this guy. Thanks in advance.
