That cage size sounds fine...and yes, that would be a correct length average. If he had a healthy life...it should be closer to 6ft, but he will most likely be stunted due to his rough life. However, he could still suprise you and have a real growth spurt. Technically they never stop growing. Everytime they shed, you know they are growing...it just slows down as they get older.
