Iguana Bowel Movements

I just recently adopted a seven year old iguana. His former owner claimed that he only went to the bathroom once every three weeks!!! I have been doing a lot of research on iguanas, and I thought they should be going once a day. However, I can't seem to get Quincy to go once a day. I have tried putting him in the bathtub with water and stuff, which was recommended by someone. That worked once, but he hasn't gone in three days. How often should an iguana "relieve" itself, and when should I start getting worried if he doesn't? He's eating fine, and seems to be healthy otherwise.
