Please help me... this is a emerjency!!!

hi. i was playing with my iguana, pedro, and his tail fell off! i didn't know i wasn't supposed to pick him up by it- i swear. he looked like he was in pain- he was making these wierd faces. i didn't want him to get infection, so i washed it with soap. i washed him pretty well, so i dont think i will need to bring him to a doctor. i cant anyway because my mom doesn't know i have him.

i have him in his box to calm down a little- i dont think he liked the water. can anyone please help me? i'm worryed about pedro!!
