Windows?

Columbus is finally in his new cage. Its huge and we've decorated it with various plants. The only problem he keeps jumping towards the window. He doesnt hit it very hard, but there is about a 6 foot drop below him. He usually catches himself on a rope or plant, but often he hits the floor. Is this really dangerous and will he 'learn' not to do it eventually? Otherwise, are there any nicelooking ideas that I can use to prevent him from doing this. Not nice looking ideas are also appreciated but I'd prefer the better ones first.
