Thanks for your input - maybe I wasn't totally clear, esp. on the gender thing. He did say it's not possible to determine gender until 1-3 years but that she's PROBABLY a girl - judged this by her delicate-looking head and lack of dorsal spikes, but also that he(?) may just be a late bloomer. I was just excited cuz I was a little nervous about soon having a breeding male on my hands! I do have her under two UVA/B lights as well as two heat lamps, and her basking area is consistently about 90-95 degrees. I actually thought the same thing about her being pale. I'll post her pic at the bottom of this page so you can see. When I got her in October and he first saw her she was very bright green but has been consistently grayish-brown for the past three months - I haven't noticed much change at all.
Anyway, sorry for rambling - I really do want to take good care of her!

P.S. I did look on the site for herp vets but couldn't find one in my area. I'll be moving to Nashville in May so I figured in the future I'd be able to find a permanent vet. I did have the vet today do a fecal so I figured that (assuming it's okay) should be enough vet stuff til then.
