Thank you for clearing up the concerns about the vet. Some of them are still there but if you are moving to Nashville soon I'd start looking down there just to be ahead of the game when you hit town... Aspiring singer/songwriter by any chance? Should I ask for an autograph now? Remember, I AM a professional stage technician, road manager, etc if you ever need to put a crew together...;)~

Hmmm.....Well...S/he may be a bit on the "dull" side but judging fromthe pic alone I don't think there's too much to be concerned about. The only things I can think of to ask further are:

1.) Diet

2.) When was Gizmo's last shed?

3.) When were the UV tubes last changed?

4.) How close can Gizmo physically get to the UV tubes?

Reasons for asking:

1.) Color/health could be somewhat affected depending on what you are feeding...

2.) Ruling out any chance of retained/pending shed.

3.) Fluorescent UV tubes are only "good" for 6 months and have to be replaced after that.

4.) If an animal can't get within 12" of a fluorescent UV tube the light is doing absolutely no good for it. The decay rate on fluo UVB is such that after 12" there is little to nothing useful left...One of the reasons I recommended looking at the merc vapor bulbs....;)
