It does sound much like Metabolic Bone Disorder. Unfortunately, I have heard this many times, usually before death. Sounds like late MBD. There are people who do keep iguanas like this and there is a small chance that sun and calcium will improve the outlook slightly. You want to read Carman Iguana. The link is on my page.
