Double d LOVES turnip greens, collard greens, and mustard greens shed eat only greens if I let her LOL. Count yourselves lucky our local wal mart quit getting any of the greens in, so I do my main shopping there then have to go across town to get collards, its been a while since ive been able to get mustard or turnip greens (dd not a happy camper) but at least shes getting most of the dinner as collard greens LOL. If I remember correctly Kale is to be fed in moderation (could be wrong on that one) but Turnip greens are fine :o).
: Josh just called me from his cell phone to say Walmart is out of Collards, and should he substitute turnip greens this time. I said I thought I've heard that they are good/okay to feed, but in the end, he opted to buy kale because he said the turnip greens had little plant-hair-things on the backs of the leaves.
: I'm wondering do any of your igs eat turnip greens? Do they seem to like them? Or am I mistaken and they're not even on the list of approved foods. Our igs don't seem to like mustard greens as much as collards, so we're looking for a good subsitution when collards aren't available.
: Thanks,
: Diana
