There are foods we know for usre that are good and foods we know for sure that are bad, there are also foods (such as Kale) that are questionable.
When in doubt as to what to make staple food vs. occasional food, always err on the side of caution and stick with the "Big Four" (collards, dandelion, mustard and turnip).
So little is actually known and/or proven regarding food for iguana because up until now, relatively little long term research has been done. When we know that the "Big Four" work, I alwsy suggest those first, especially to people new to keping iguanas. Only after you have fed a good diet would I add things such as kale, beet leaves, celery tops, etc.
