Sneakers seems to get a blackish color when she is stressed. I've noticed this when she forgets that I'm not going to eat her and she goes thru her gymnastics before I get to pick her up. Then she developed a blackish color. I just hold her and talk to her and soon she is back to her beautiful green. I have been wrong? I read that iZ changes to white when stressed. If white is normal, what is Sneakers trying to tell me by going black.
Also, Sneakers will display her do-lap (spelling?) quite often. Is this a sign of agression or does she just think quite highly of herself and doesn't realize that it makes me laugh. She doesn't do any head bobbing, just shows off her do-lap. This is not when she is stressed. It seems to be more when she is disapproving of what I am doing.
This is the story part - I take Sneakers out at night and hold her for about an hour. The other night while my husband was on the computer, I put Sneakers on top of the moniter where it was warm. She wondered around up there and was towards the back of the moniter when my husbanded coughed. She did a little jump and started to slide off the back of the moniter. She did one of her gymnastic routines trying to get back up on the moniter. She looked so clumsy that I started laughing so hard that I couldn't help her. She fell off the moniter and my husband rescued her. The look on her face was priceless. I'm sure she was saying "I hope no one saw that." LOL
