Hi, about 4 months ago I got my first Iguana, named Guar. I adopted him from a family in my town who was terrified of him!
He is about 1 foot and a half long. But they hadn't handled him in a year or so, and he is the direct opposit of tame. He is starting to calm down, he will let me pet him, he'll perch on my shoulers, and eat out of my hand, but he only does this for me. If anyone else tries to touch him, he either bites or whips them. How can I tame this unruly little lizard so that everyone can handle him, I have got him a leash, but he's afraid of it.
I really need to get him tam. He spends most of the day with me, so why hasn't he mellowed out?
Thanx for any help.
