Important taming question!(that is right, I am back!)

Did ya miss me? No? Oh well, here is the dilemma: Isis bites extremely hard. He actually launches at my face and I have 4 nice scars now covering my face. Exactly what is up here? I handle him every day, he was doing great and then...wham! This happens. Could it be breeding season?? If so, how long does it last and i thought they were supposed to be nicer to you if you were a girl? Thanx!
