OK - I have to tell a short (I'll TRY to keep it short anyway) story here...
I don't have an Iggy, just my 2 Chinese Water Dragons, but Sparx (my male) gets overly "friendly" with me right about the time I'm ovulating....
I know this may sound crazy, but it's true.
I started noticing it would last for about a week every month or so. He would want to be ON ME, if I would try to put him down, he wouldn't have it, just put that power grip on me and bob, bob, bob�
If hubby would come in the room, he would bob at him, puff up his throat, and display some of the most beautiful colors imaginable, then he'd jump down and "prance" back & forth between us, and "guard & protect" me from him. It wasn't until after I read MK article on the hormonal thing that I put it all together. It's so funny though! I had a girlfriend over the other night and Sparx was "flirting" with her - wanted to be on her, she said something to the effect of "oh, he must remember me from last time, look he's getting used to me and has decided he likes me" - to that I responded "where are you in your monthly cycle?" Of course I got the what are you - nuts?" look - but guess what - she was at "that time".

Just wanted to share that with you�
I kept it as brief a possible - I could go on to tell more stories about this, but I'm sure you get the idea�

: i've never noticed any of iZ's "hormonal changes" coinciding with *mine* ... have always wondered if it's just that iZ + i are strange or if it's not really true/accurate that male igs react to female humans ...
