While CHEs may be a good source for heat (and I don't think that they are all that great for safety reasons -but that is just my opinion), they don't provide any basking light. So, if you are going to use a CHE, you still need a basking light, right? I know how much all our igs love to bask -when there is no sun or during winter, the incandescent bulbs are a great way for them to be able to bask.
