According to the Iguana Den diet, the goal is a 2.79:1 Ca:P ratio. On the veggie Ca:P ratio table, Chinese Cabbage is #7, with Collard Greens, Mustard Spinach, Turnip Greens, Amaranth, Beet Greens, and Dandelion Greens ahead of it. Kevin states to always choose veggies with the highest Ca:P ratios.
Honestly, I dont see where Chinese Cabbage could be that bad. If you look farther down the table, even Green Cabbage is at 2.0:1. Napa Cabbage gets a little worse, and Red Cabbage even worse than that.
So, in my opinion: Chinese Cabbage: sure why not?? Napa, Green, and Red Cabbage: not really worth it, would not serve much purpose other than color and water.
Like I said, just my opinion on what I have read, and what it means to me, but it makes sense doesnt it?
: See, everyone is saying how great the iguana den diet is... but they recommend Chinese Cabbage on Iguana Den. Is it good or bad?
