Believe it or not, you can over do Calcium at certain times, this is why a 2:1 ratio is recommend I believe. Feeding Collard greens as the main diet every day, could over load your iguana with higher levels of Calcium. In the Spring we lower the levels of Collard greens and use other greens with levels closer to 2:1 ratio.
The only time we use additional stuff (Vitamins) is during egg season. Since most female iguanas will need a large amount of Ca. during this time.
