Since your IG is still a *juvie* the tail should grow back to almost ( if not ) the original length, although it will never bee as beautiful as the original tail. If she was an adult iguana you wouldn't be so lucky, the tail would only grow part of its original tail back since it doesn't need it as much any more.

My IG Tarzan (7 Mon.) has some dark coloring on his head, as you can see in the picture, is this the type of markings that your girl has? Did you see her head before it was that grey "ready to shed" color?
