I don't know much about his history because I got him about 2 or 3 months ago from a the store that I work at. I know that he is 4 years old and is about 3 ft long. He is only 3 feet because his previous owners kept cutting his tail so he could be squished into a 20 gallon aquarium. Sucky life. So now he is with me and I think you guys are right about it just being his marking because he doesn't run around in his temperary cage a whole lot and I know he hasn't hit his head on anything in front of my and I definitly know it hasn't changed colors since I got him. He is such a great iggy. Right now I am in the process of making him a 5ft long by 3 and a half foot wide by 5 foot high pvc piping cage that is coming along great! I can't wait to put him in there. Then during spring I'm going to make him a beautiful outdoor cage hopefully about 15ft high, long, and wide with a bunch of additional things like a misting system and pool etc. Right now he is gaining some weight and has absolutly beautiful colors. It also looks like his tail is starting to grow back.
