I have been lurking around trying to learn as much as possible. I was given a baby ig, as they were prizes at a carnval. I really want to keep this little guy/gal happy and healthy. I have "franky" in a 15 gal aquiarium w/ reptile bark and a hiding place w/ a lamp for heat and a water hole. I will go out tonight to get the special lights. Franky is about 4inches not including his tail. He is also shedding right now. He seems to be aggressive at this time. Is that normal?
I would like to add that I think it is wrong for carnivals to be giving these pets away as prizes as they take so much knowledge to correctly care for them. Is there anything special I need to do while the shed is going on? How do I know he is healthy? Sorry so long, just a newbie at this.
