Sounds like you've got all the best advice,,,you will get confused as a little time goes by,,,but keep in mind,,,no two iggies are alike and while some love MK salad,some don't and will like maybe more of J Swoffards diet.
Read read read and use your common sense and the feel you get from you iggy.
As to help you in taming your little one,,,its' never to early to start once he has settle in to his new home.Try puting one of your old clean t-shirts in his hide box,,they are very scent oriented and he will learn yours from the t-shirt that you rubbed on yourself.Always move slowly and speak softely and be patient.
Get him in natural sunshine as often as possible too,it seems to be a mircale cure for a lot of ills.
