igs and cats....

I have a 38" STL male ig, and I was wondering if there's any reason why he couldn't free roam with my cats. I know a lot of it depends on the personality of the cats and ig...they've been staring at each other through the cage and neither is showing interest in attacking the other. And I figure Goliath is big enough to take care of himself...

Anyone with experience with mixing cats and igs?
