While I don't yet free roam my little Max Q, I did
let the original Q free roam most afternoons. I
have four cats, and none of them ever bothered him
in any way. In fact, the cats pretty much avoided
Q. If he started wandering in their direction,
they went the other way. It wasn't fear on the
cats part; it was more like they thought Q had
cooties or something. And Q? He paid no mind
whatsoever to the cats. If they hadn't moved out
of his path, I think he would have climbed right
over them.
I'd suggest some stongly supervised free roaming
sessions to start. Hope your crew gets along well!
