Ok, so I took this iguana home that my vet was asked to put down, but I can't get her to eat anything. I'm really starting to get nervous, since I don't think she's eaten anything since I took her home on Saturday. The vet techs said she didn't seem to eat anything while she was there for a few days before I picked her up, either. You can tell she's losing weight, because she's starting to get that flap of skin running down her sides. I'm really nervous for her.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get her eating? Just to give you some background, the previous owners gave the vet her pelleted "food" so I have left a bowl of that in there and she's also getting a fresh bowl of "salad" each day. I've actually gome so far as to count the number of leaves and peices of vegetables in the bowl so that I can tell if she's eaten any. I don't know what to do now.
Any help is appreciated.
