1st of all ~ thanx for the great save BH! there's a *huge* difference between the 2 + i hadn't realized that!!!!
ok ~ if you take your glasses off so you can almost read the teeny tiny itty bitty print on a TUMS label (i need new eyeballs) and notice this info is in 2 very different places (!) ...
TUMS EX :
1 tablet contains 750 mg of calcium carbonate ~OR~
*2* tablets contain 600mg of calcium!!!
anyway ... (thanx again to BH's save!)
a doc at the HerpHealth forum sez dosage for dogs/cats is 90-150 mg/k/day Calcium Carbonate ...
(*score*!)
iZ is packin' on the weight (grin) and am gonna put it at 4k (almost 9#, may have mis-weighed the 7.5# ????) soooooooooooo ...
his dosage using this info would be 360-450mg/day translated into .48 -.6 TUMS a day ... i've been giving him .5 TUMS, 375 calcium carbonate ~ (wow ~ did i make a great educated guess or what!?)
*whew* it's way too early in the day for me to be using this much brain ... *must have more caffiene!*
