i figure right now, his diet is at a 3:1 ratio ... add the TUMS ... that's another 150mg of calcium (elemental) ... so ... 425mg calcium, 90mg phosphorus is a ratio of 4.7:1 ... i dunno ... any input????? this is new territory i think ... haven't found any recommendations on C:P ratios for renal failure igs ...
Protein ~ well, you're the one who 1st made me aware that protein is hard on the renal system so *don't* be feelin' bad about making suggestions!!! *geesh* i value your opinion!!! (silly girl!) from all my number punching, i'm guess-timating iZ gets 5-6mg protein per day ... but i don't know if that's good, bad, indifferent ... any clue? (he gets no alfalfa or beans, peas ...)
