John...like was suggested you gotta get your ig to the vet. There is very little you can do for your ig at this point at home. This ig sounds like he has advanced MBD...the final result of CHRONIC poor diet, and husbandry. Your ig may need a shot of calcitonin, or Vitamin D. to jump start his system. You can begin to give your ig warm water (about 86degrees) soaks, and put him out in the SUN for as long as you can , supervised, in like a wire cage,No barriers, unfiltered sunlight! until you can get him to the vet. NO SPINACH (worthless! oxalates) and NO PLANT LIGHT (worthless!less than 2% uvb) At the risk of sounding like a total bitch...you must read up on your iguana to keep him healthy so he doesn't cost you a fortune in medical bills later down the road.. Got my fingers crossed that you will be able to turn him around with good vet care, diet & husbandry changes......MBD is TOTALLY PREVENTABLE and CURABLE if you ACT QUICKLY! Need any ONLINE referrals...just ask...we'll help ya out ok! Here's Tricia Powers Iguana Care 101....link to her MBD article is under the UVB Lighting section...but Ive hyperlinked (?) it for ya below....ITS A START!
