I was just there
they have a cage that is a good size, maybe 8' long, 5' deep and 7 high...
I couldn't count the number of iguanas they had in there. So I asked the head curator. Her reply was, and I kid you not... Eleven.

I then asked her, well, how many are males? and her reply? She told me that she did not KNOW.. (she said "I dont' know but I know there are at least three females) and this was the head curator! (it is a small organization, she has no reason for not knowing this information)

there were three I could identify as definately male (from site, from a distance of 7 or so feet)...

oh.. and to top it off? these iguanas shared this cage with a pair of Tamarins, a couple of short tailed Opossums and 2 3-toed sloths.

scary. this is who educates the children.

any of you live in St. Louis? you might want to check the place out and log what complaints you can
