a few questions

1) How can you tell if your ig is male or female??? I think ive heard that boys heads are more colorful but im not sure. Mines head is a light greenish blue on the very top.
2) Is it ok to use wood shavings (something light like aspen or pine) as substrate in an ig cage???
3) What is the best way to potty train an ig??? Id like to have mine free roam someday but i dont want him pooping all over the place.
4) I saw this liquid uv stuff at the pet store and was kind of curious about it. Has anyone ever used it? If so, what are your opinions. I use lights but was just curious.

I thought I had more questions but I cant think of any more. Any/All info is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
