first buy a book on iguanas for future reference a great ones called green iguana ultimate owners manual available at www.herpsupplies.com male iguanas have larger heads and bigger side jars then female male during breeding season from october to febuary turn an orange color its hard to tell icouldnt tell mine was a male until he was 2 years old also he started to bob his head alot buy a book
