best substrate is newspaper indoor outdoor carpet astroturf dont use pine or cedar shavings odor kills iguanas also instead of liquid stuff use reptivite reptile vitamins and sprinkle on food everyday to litter train i trained mine to go in my bath tub fill bathtub with 1-2 inches warm water the warm water makes them poop then scoop out and flush down toilet let him soak in water until water starts to cool thhen take him out he will be more relaxed and easier to handle after a bath the water also helps remove shedding skin
then go back later and clean bathtub with bleach and rinse with water always wash your hands with antibacterial soap after handling your iguana
