Ok, so I know I've been absent for a while, although I have been "lurking" every so often. But it's time for me ask for advice again.
EJ's been talking alot lately, about adopting another ig. I told him I wouldn't agree to it until he had done more research, himself. I hated that it seemed like I was the only one trying to learn more. Anyway, he seems to be all set with expecting to spend more on preventative vet care this time, he even wants to have a general checkup (bloods and fecals included) 3 times a year. I told I had heard twice a year was plenty. I don't want to stress the ig. Now, it seems, though that he's balking the idea of builing a better free roamer setup. Apparently he doesn't see the virtue of spending that money. Go figure.
Anyway, the advice I am looking for is explanations and/or pics from those of you that have free roamers. I don't specifically want to spend alot of money on this, but what we had for Trex did seem inadequate, and I want the next ig to have everything it needs - no skimping or cutting corners. I refuse to get another one until I know that it will be housed properly. I could also use some advise on outdoor enclosures - we never did get around to building one for poor Trex.
Oh yeah, I have already been to MK's section on free roamers, and I am looking for supplemental information so that we have multiple ideas to choose from. Just in case you were gonna send me that link. ; )

Thanks in advance for your help.
- Carrie (missing Trex, hoping for another soon...)

P.S. - Gina, I did ask my vet some of the questions you had e'ed me and am still waiting for the answers he had to research. I'll post the responses here when I get them, so that everyone else can hear too.
