Wire or Glass Habitat-Need Opinions To Make Decision On Housing

I have gathered much info on habitats and come away confused. Are coated wire cages OK? It will be indoors, in my living room, so not cold. Help! I want to make a decision and upgrade my Gus to a larger cage. Thanks again.
