We are fortunate enough to live within driving range of the Atlantic Ocean and many brakish (sp?) rivers. We go drift wood hunting a couple of times a year. True, most drift wood is slippery, but we have found pieces that are pitted and make wonderful climbing limbs for our ig kids. Of course these pieces aren't as "pretty" as the slippery kind, so you probably won't see them being sold by anyone. The slippery pieces need to be sanded and/or roughed up so that the iguana can get a grip on the wood.
